Ruard Veltman, an architect specializing in residential architecture, is intrigued by a broader definition of design.

Over the years and through his travel in Europe and between his east and west coast offices, Ruard became a collector of images that capture moments — some iconic, some perhaps overlooked, but nonetheless something he found to be clever at the time.

Through the simple use of the iPhone, forever carried in his pocket, Ruard chronicled these moments, and now shares a selection spanning the past several years with this first body of photography — as a gesture beyond pencil and paper.
